Here I am setting up to install the side walls. I even wanted to make these at an angle to the top. All this will make the bodywork tough but the finish product will be cool....BWD

I usually alternate like this doing two separate tasks at one time. It makes the job more interesting but mainly helps me to keep focus on the details. I guess its like staring at a computer screen for two hours straight or breaking to divert your attention then back to focus. I hate to say this but sometimes when I'm watching law and Order I go to the garage during commercials and it works.

outlining a new line to cut since the sides are flared outwards. I even cut the roof at the same angle as the sides to keep the fit tight...BWD

Today I had to make a decision that will add ten hours to my time but it was easy to make because its the best move for quality. Its the wings in the front the angle was off and my workmanship sucked a year ago when I did them. I didn't use and angle finder and all my beveled edges were off. So I made the decision to completely redo both front wings. And yes they are coming out much better. Heres a detailed pic of the real Tumbler and I did not see that bevel but Shaggy says its there! lol''''BWD

Houston we have a problem. The front point wont sit down without lifting the back. So the solution is to quarter it and whallah it did end up working...BWD

Well got to hit the hay I was hoping to get all the pics up but I guess that's what tomorrow is for. Last pic is large lower panel. I ended up turning it even more that is shown so I will have to "massage" the triangular ends. Thanks for looking....BWD

Spent the previous three days at my moms house visiting my sisters. Did get a chance to assemble some patterns for the little side box on the side of the miniT. Oh and three of the wings on the rear of the car.a
So got a chance to tape the body parts I do have to Terry's go cart. The carts causes it to be off but I know I can straighten it out when we go to assemble it. That's a ways away. My question to Shaggy was go cart for me or street legal. I'm kinda leaning towards street legal but Shaggy gave some good points for keeping it a cart. I've had this though on adapting a car chassis with some modifications to work. I guess we will see.
Today I worked on the indentation of the roof arrow. It's coming together but looks a cross between strange and cool. Also got an idea I started for the side mounts of the piece that goes above the roof. I'm creating a tapered pillar look. Again different but cool.
Also straighten out the side arrow panel. Needed to replace a panel piece and create a little down turn edge on it similar to the front control arm panels.
Worked on moving through the two front wings. The angle was off on it so I replaced the main panel and the edges. Tedious work but it will be satisfying to get done. Tomorrow will be a full day of contracting work but hope to get a couple hours in the morning to fiberglass these modifications up! Thanks for looking I'll have some pics when I'm on my laptop next. Thank you baneful very much appreciate the kind words. So today I actually had to work. so I only had two hours in the morning to fiberglass some parts and two hours in the evening to knock down some bondo and sand. None of us have time but I want to say a couple hours here and there make a dent in the work. Of course I have given up television but everyone says I haven't missed much.

Here is my buddy Terry's mini Tumbler. Its recognizable but could be improved. I know he was bummed when I stopped the miniT but thrilled when it was back on track and he was going to get a body.

Now here's some of the body panels and I have to say the angles are all wrong but you can see where we are going with it...
