Tumbler is fine, but I like more 1989's batmobile.

Think of the cave. To be able to enter the cave it won't be a smooth as glass ride. The keaton may be something used down the road, when there is the "batfamily" to literally help smooth the trail. The tumbler is all terrain and doable being bruce is the lone soldier right now.

If this new batmobile was built to be some exotic car like the keaton, kilmer, clooney and etc's then it will be the same thing as putting a freaking batman symbol on every gadget that batman has. Its kinda cheesey, think about it, the previous batmobiles especially the kilmer and clooneys are so pointlessly bright and "wingy" with bat wings sticking out everywhere it doesn't reall help the main purpose of the batmobile which is PERFORMANCE. Like the keaton, kilmer, and clooney batmobiles, its freakishly long, i doubt that can do any help with performance at all, for crying out loud, the keaton mobile needs a rope to do a corner turn, the kilmer mobile ridiculously has a 4WS feature to turn like a turtle! and to be honest, always having fire bursting out of the exhaust completely takes away the stealth purpose. dn't get me wrong, the keaton mobile is the best batmobile ever created. But for the Kilmer and Clooney mobile if you think about it, its so weak and pointless and irrelevant for Batman's use of a car.

I think Nolan's idea of the Tumbler as a batmobile makes more logic sense and seems more realistic to make the Batman franchise seem more related and real to reality! does anyone understand this picture im trying to paint? and from what i believe its also based on Frank Miller's batmobile

what the hell is this? i mean im a batman fan and this is a awsom car but is not batman batman is not a militry freak he's a kung fu master so why hook him up with all thease guns and such. I'm not saying the old low rider is cool but is batman I mean leve him allone

Them back tires are rather big. I think they would have some fairly thick rubber and be able to run somewhat flat. The tires are also designed to jump so they would take a beating as well

If you're occasionally being shot at.. I'm not sure its such a good idea to have exposed tires like that. Overall its an interesting military design but not very bat worthy.

Lets take a look at the 1989 batmobile. Its a low rider that could be rendered useless with a speed bump. You at least got to admit the tumbler is not lame like penguin's duck cart. In the No Mans Land series he even uses a humvee so why not a tumbler
