Today was a good day I got about 11 hours in.started so early I kinda forgot what I did first. Ah yes. I had received my new sea turtle shell and got to waxing and PVA/gel coat yesterday. Today I put down three layers of Matt on the shell to create a mold. Made another mold of my first turtle shell but ended up destroying the plug. Guess it was getting too brittle. Also finished the gel coat and three layers of mesh on another shell. Then it was onto the miniT.
Got the new pieces to the side panel fiberglassed and set. It was a bear making the little pieces that connected the next piece to the first piece.im going to have to keep the pieces separated so I can finish the body work. That's going to take a long time by myself. Got all the bondo tabbing off the panels and gave everything a rough sanding.wore goggles, mask earplugs and used a fan and still ended up with dust in my eyes. Not sure that fiberglass should be my thing.tomorrow I should be off so I'm planning a full day. May have to run into Stockton to get some more supplies. Going to New York on Sunday and then to DC. Gotta chat with Obama on some crap going on. So that leaves two potential days to get some stuff done. Hate missing a week. Oh well....thanks for looking....Dave aka BWD

| We were at the Vietnam wall when we noticed a bunch of world war two veterans in wheelchairs. Because of the shutdown they were initially denied access to the world war II war memorial. Veterans took down the barriers to allow them access. It was a great display of public rebellion. Made me proud to be a veteran.

| Hey DanW thanks not sure if your talking about the vets or the interview about the car chase. I had taken a video of the car chase and it ended up on CNN with my wifey running away from the gunfire. It was a crazy chase and we just happen to be there. When I heard the shots I thought I'd better record this. They did a couple interviews and we say it locally on the DC news. It was crazy!!! So I got some car shots Id like to share of some race cars in front of a New York hotel...
