The wheel size in the front and back are too small for this 2/3rds scale Tumbler. Terry will probably stay with these wheel because of costs but I will buy ones more closer to scale on my MiniT.

My goal will be to build a street legal version. But that's subject to change although that's what Im thinking right now. I know the chassis I want to use but I have to be patience and search for the right donor.

Here is a pic of the underside of the roof panel.

Terry's donor will be the go cart and I could see where we could lower it with minimal impact. And actually we could put a set of coil over real shocks where the real Tumbler has them. Mine will be a more complex tubular chassis although I could incorporate some real King shocks.

Here is the side panel being recut and fiberglasssed so that the angles will be closer to the real Tumbler. Yeah its a pain but I knew this was going to happen so I've only used 3/4 ounce fiberglass random mat. Got to be gentle as its easy to break the seams at this point. Today I tried a technique I learned on Youtube and it worked. Made my fiberglass work look 10 times better and stronger.

Ok today I moved a few hours forward started at 7:30 and made it to 1:30 then I had to run a couple honeydews and a 5:30 appt. made it back around 8:00 and just finished cleaning up at 10:30. I had fiberglassing some side panel parts and cutting out the lower box. Got that tabbed up and fiberglassed tonight. Also got both side pillars cut and fiberglassed up. The alignment was easy cause the angle was on the top roof lights. I threw another cut in the front pillar to look more like the original. On the top roof spoiler I created a stouter mount and then threw in some front lips on that piece although that's not original. It looks badass. Also messed around with the front wings and guesstimated where the cuts needed to be and the slight angle to the outer edge.. Figure I'll get some of those pics out there when the body is completed and I can always fine tune these pieces.im on the iPad tonight so I'll load up some pics hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for looking BWD

Here's the arrow panel that needed to be massaged. Had this up last night with something important to say an my computer locked up. So ended up losing the post and now cant remember what was so important. Today I got a full day other than running up to Sacramento for supplies. So I think it was started at 7;00 and finished at 10:00 minus those two hours. There so many different tasks that I can pretty much change from one to another.

Started out redrawing the upper rear intake then cutting that out of fiberglass. The detail was a little crazy and I found myself looking at many different pics trying to get it as close to right as possible. Its always best to build it on paper and this time I got my drafting kit out of my car. I was getting serious.

Got all my rear wing skins cut and beveled. Man that was a lot of dust. When my neighbor came home I stopped the grinder but when I found out it was date night and they ended up leaving I quickly cut the rest up. Ready for assembly...

This is kinda how far I've gotten to date. I have all day off tomorrow and I don't have to go to Sacramento so I plan on getting a full day of work done on the beast. Thanks for looking. BWD
