Nice
Do you have any plans so that the shock from closing the deck lid is distributed over a larger area of the lid and not in such an acute area?
This too prevent stress, distortions and possible fracturing over time.

I'll have some bump stops like you would see in a normal trunk as well. Likely on the back two corners.

I'm making some more progress on the Electronics Rack. I ran out of a few nuts/bolts so I wasn't able to finish the project, but it's coming along

Of course I need a place to mount all of my nerdy goodies

I built up some jack-points so that I can actually raise the car and work on it.

One of the tricky parts about this car is that the body overlaps the frame in ways that makes it really tough to get a floor jack under the car. So I decided I would make some accessible jack points to raise it up.

Yesterday was a bit of trial and error, but I think I have a plan going forward. The tricky part is finding a good way to support the weight of the big/heavy/clunky exhaust tips.

My theory is that the rear of the exhaust tips will be supported by the hangers of the actual exhaust, but the heavy end-weighted tips need a good solid mounting point.

I finally finished, and securely mounted, the exhaust tips. I couldn't be happier with the results!

It did come with a few challenges today, but with a bit of perseverance everything turned out just right

For this weekend I finished up the Electronics Rack for the hatch area of the car. This is where I'll secure all the stuff like amps, Arduino boards, sound boards, relays, suspension controllers etc

I was also able to complete my adjustable hood supports this weekend. This should allow me to dial-in the surface where the cabin meets the hood.

I just need to add a rubber bumper onto the top of the bolt
