sly,
"If you can find a good quality, straight on image (not from an angle) please pass it along. I may be able to use it to make a nice 3d cad file."
I have already thought about this method.
One definitely can make a 3D CAD file from a flat photo-image.
Then this file could be used to mill the side mechanics in one piece or mostly one piece with a few pieces like the spring added to them.
The problem is with the capabilities of a 3 Axis CNC milling table.
To get away from the carved relief effect one would need to be able to find a way to do under cutting.
Also the curved parts.
Would need a 4 to 5 axis milling table.
Could also do the under cutting on a 3-axis table using side cutting mill bits with manipulation of the tool path centerline vary it with inset/offset adjustments.
Could also cut the panels on 3 axis table and then hand route the under cuts with a depth set, side cutting bit in a small hand router..
There are many ways one can do these panels. vertigo

Understood. But my plan is to mostly use the rizoma (or replica) parts that the original used. However, there appears to be an underlying network of "conecting framework that could be milled.

Update on my Justice League batmobile.
In summary, I am around 90% completed on the bottom and core frame modifications.
Frame clad panels are complete and installed.
Step assemblies are completed and installed.

Neat.
How will you address routing the drive-train and keeping the produced heat out of the passenger compartment?

Hey THEMAN,
Thanks for the kind words.
"How will you address routing the drive-train and keeping the produced heat out of the passenger compartment?"
Exactly how I solve these problems will begin with how my state regulates and interprets my Justice League build in terms of street legal status and qualifications.
If I can't qualify as street legal then pretty much any thing is possible.
One fellow I know reported he was at a truck and off road show and found a truck with a rear mounted engine.
What interest me about this vehicle is his description of a V8 plugged into factory gearbox/transmission unit that that mounts as an single unit on the vehicle. Still searching for this one online.
Most likely will install engine, trans, drive shaft in center tunnel and heat shield the passenger compartment.
Looking at some of the heavy duty off road and rock climbing trucks.
Looking for images of custom vehicles built around tunnel frames.

Hey THEMAN,

Another method I might use to reduce heat is by perforating the skid plates with holes.
Since the new tires will increase the ground clearance significantly I may cut out a clearance hole for the oil pan
to lower the engine a few more inches. Then armor it with plating.
