Re-calculated roll bar dimensions around Sparco seats and
cut out back passenger compartment seat panel in steel.

Why did you cut that panel out of all that steel? I thought you were bending the rollbar to the shape you cut out of wood...
Are you planning to cut the large vent holes for grating to allow ventilation for the cabin?

THEMAN,
"Why did you cut that panel out of all that steel? I thought you were bending the rollbar to the shape you cut out of wood..."

I am making the combined roll bar/seat compartment back panel assembly out of 3" x 3" square tubing sections and plan to weld these to the steel plate. This assembly makes for an extremely strong roll bar but also provides a high strength rib like structural element. I plan to use a second similar assembly for the firewall.

"Are you planning to cut the large vent holes for grating to allow ventilation for the cabin?"

Probably, but also looking at other methods to ventilate the cabin.

Aaah, gotcha. I'm sure it will look interesting when you're done, seems like you have a game plan evolving.

My Justice League interpretation will certainly not look like Sly's and your smooth and sleek DOJs.
Probably more like a brute road warrior bowed up for battle.
Looking for a look close to the Mattle RC attached photo images.

Looking at those pics it certainly explains What you're thinking with the height of the car. That model looks shorter and taller than the DOJ. I notice that the front hood air intakes are quite a bit taller and heavier looking. Will be interesting to see your progress to achieve that look.

btw, have those JL cars been on display anywhere?

Thanks for the kind words.
The Justice League RC models are available at Amazon ranging from 100-140.00.
The actual movie Justice League batmobile has been on public display.
I believe THEMAN has posted some photo-images of it.

Put in 4-hours on my Justice League batmobile.
Checked and re-checked my measurements and combination roll bar/structural support back passenger compartment wall.

Positioned 3' x 3" square tubing and clamped them in place for welding.
Note in the photo-image how these two tubing uprights run all the way to the bottom of center core tunnel.
These will be welded in place. Then a square flange approximately 8" square with a 3" x 3" cutout will be welded in place to spread the load factors from the roll bar assembly.

Also clamped plate wall in place.

The RC car dimensions aren't too far off the OG, but they are a tad skewed... the other thing that skews things in those pics though is the driver canopy is never closed, they left it partially open so the cockpit doesn't look as low as it should. The RC car also doesn't lower it's suspension all the way like the real car, only raises it from regular 4wd offroad height to full on offroad jumping height.

Going for a build similar to the RC is definitely an intimidating truck stance that will look cool... I'm intending to be able to airbag down to the ground, like a F1 car on roids or up to regularly 4wd height, but definitely keeping it on the lower end of things. We'll have all the stances covered between the different build directions.

They only car I've been up close with was the JL, which was one of the hero cars that was modified from a DoJ vehicle... no difference in physical dimensions between them.

Every time I see one of your pics with the fan in the front of the truck vert, I feel a strong 89/JL mashup vibe coming on.
