Hey Big Bozo. Better that you expected? Great....I did check out shaggy's side mechanics and they looked great.

OK we got a chance to test ride the Honu2. its very weighted to the left sides but putting weights on the right side it balanced out. I took the knee pads, footrests and chest plate off incased we crashed. The exhaust is like 8 inches long with no baffles but we dropped the bike off at the fab shop to have a custom stainless exhaust made. Suppose to pick it up at 4:30 tomorrow then we drop it off at the paint shop on Saturday morning. My buddy committed to painting it on Sunday so that will be ready for pick-up on Monday. I got a bunch of stuff into the powdercoater and hoping it will be done by wednesday so I can assemble and create two crates  for the Honu1 and 2. Got one of our superintendants to help me out with the crate building on Thursday. Tore the hydraulic steer off the Big Kahuna and mocking up the new steering. Suppose to get that done by this weekend. Just got done working on the Honu1 and its one in the morning. Quickly made a video on the test ride of the Honu2. Hope most of you enjoy it....Aloha

Forgiven but only if you stop calling me the great one. Lol I'm 45 minutes south os Sacramento.
I have been so excited about the possibilities of the Batpod replicas. Getting ready to start the Honu3. The bike I always wanted to build. We are moving mountains now with the short time schedule we face.....8 days.....geeze. Today we got the stainless exhaust made and it will be polished on Monday. Picked up the polished aluminum left rear hub stabilizer for the Honu1 and it looks like a mirror. Also got two the two nitrogen charged shocks polished...just stunning. Got one of the coils that was powder coated super chrome back and can't wait to assemble it. Just shut down for the night and it's like 1:00 in the morning. I stripped the bike down tho the chassis and it's going to paint tomorrow. Mt buddy agreed to paint the bike on Sunday! Hey it's desperate times.lol my powder coater offered if I brought the rest of my honu2 parts down first thing on Monday he would powder coat them the same day. Good news....
The Big Kahuna steering is stripped down and the steering rods and pillow block bearings are installed. Mock up levers are installed just need main handlebar lever welded on and hiem joints and rods hook up. I hope to see the BK steer correctly tomorrow. If everything goes as plan we should have a test ride on Sunday.if all goes well on Sunday we will take BK down to get touched up welded and pick up the honu2 from the painter. Wednesday one of our superintendents will come to my house to construct two crates for transporting. Thursday is a memorial golf tournament for my late father in law . Then Friday and Saturday will be load the truck up day.
Big disappointment are gun cluster for the Honu1 are not done so it will go weapon less. The Honu2 will have two 50 cal guns installed on the front fork. Tried my best but what it is....is what it is!
The Rumbler is coming home on Monday so I can have a cople days to tighten things up. Thanks for listening. I'll post some pics when I'm not on my iPad, good day and good night. Mahalo.... BWD

Ok this is what we love to say as builders.....Done. The Big Mahalo Honu1 batpod inspired replica is done and ready for shipment. It is loaded and ready to be displayed in an effort to sell 10 of these in 2014. We will be traveling to Sturgis, South Dakota today. We are bringing the Honu1, Honu2, Big Kahuna and Tribute Rumbler. This will be the official launch of our new company www.alohabrothersfab-kreations.com . We have new staff hired to help run our swimming pool construction business so I will be able to focus the majority of my time in fabrication which has been a dream. Wish us luck and I will be uploading our trip on Aloha Brothers Fab-Kreations Facebook. Oh the Kryptonite name was my partners ideas. one of the drawbacks of having a partner. lol...As always thanks for looking and follow us to Sturgis! Big Wave Dave

So here I am after another16 hour day at our display area out the front door of the Full Throttle Saloon my feet are like stumps.by far the "Surfin Silver " is the hit of the show. We have been non stop talking to individuals to help us take it to the next level. We had a couple heavy rollers come by and who knows? Jesse James and wife came by and checked out our stuff.the interview with CMT went well yesterday and will aire August 17 &18th on CMT.
I have come up with a couple new improvements as we move forward on the next bike. It's weird to have so much time to look and talk about the bike without really working on it. Going down so I'll check back in soon. Dave

Had a lot of very cute women trying out the Surfin Silver motorcycle. It drives very strangely in that the big wheels create a gyroscopic effect that wants to keep the bike upright. As you turn into the corners you need to slow down and it steers using your shoulders. Once you come out of the corner you don't need to steer back just simply accelerate and the wheel turns upright again. You can see the Big Kahuna in the background.

The opening within the chest plate seems to have been strategically placed for the women's comfort. Such nice and wholesome girls here at the Full Throttle Saloon

Wanted to show you a nice view of the rear license plate. Here I am showing the young woman how to get her knee in the knee rest. I'm such a helpful guy!
