Could you please post a pic of that particular rear deck lid? I have never seen it. Doug has not replied yet. What is so different on the other one? Does it have cut out vents?

Let me just say I am not a Doug Hater he is one of the most honest people out there and price and quality are not even in Question and he brings A dream product to people who thought they could never in there wildest imaginaton could have . My only problem is this Deck lid it was carved by him which is fine I guess but if he has a copy of one from another builder I would ask if I could have it. Here is why.

Currently I am working on modifying the deck lid to get a more accurate look: Also I made wheel bats out of fiberglass plastic:

Man you guys are just nailing the details. I take it the void in the cast bat is so you can fiberglass to the wheel bowel section or are you epoxing a bolt in there ? I think your smart I have aluminum bats that are so sweet but if they come off the car at any kind of speed it would be very bad. Again just a Super Job. .

Currently I am widening the rear fenders for 3 " each side, to the original specs like the #1 car was. I will post pics next week when this will be finished.

I thought I understood it as 4" per side it needed to be widened to be as the original? Did i get some wrong information somewhere?

Great job on your build, love the detail you are putting in.
BTW: I believe Jay shaved 2" off each side, but I could be wrong.
86" wide seems to come to mind for the #1
