Yes, the body with the cut off rear fenders looked horrible. But it was worth the work.

Last week I installed the custom made stainless steel fuel tank. This was the first time that another person than me worked on my car. The reason was that the tank should be leakproof. Also welding stainless is not my thing. The builder made a density test with 2 bar.

Next thing is the roll cage.

Some progress pics. Today I drove it for the first time with the body mounted. The 383 LT1 runs great, and the T56 6-speed is awesome!!

Am I the first one who made the whole front turnable? It was so much work doing this but it was worth it. It looks clean and I have good access to the engine.

No several others have a 'whole front' tilting mechanism.

Loving the detail in your build. it's looking so good and I am glad your car is a driver. Just cause you are in Europe (me too) I wondered how you got yours to pass the road test.

I am assuming it's been cleared for 'legal' road use based on last your pics fuelling up ?

SO what are using to get your round ball shapes the only thing I have ever come across and works well is
4-5 stainless gazing balls.
