Fortanately for me We just had our electrical upgraded to 200Amps I have quansite hut with a Mig welder.  And hopefully will get a bender and plasma cutter.  I also have access to a plasma table so I can have some of the parts "computer cut" for accuracy.  The nice thing about steel is as long as you have it you can recover from your mistakes a lot faster time wise.  I will say that some of the parts may be fiberglass but for the most part steel.

I think I can side with Stevo there.

It pretty much all comes down to what you're most comfortable with and what type of tool access you have for your shop. Both technically should work fine.

Your definately right there.  I would probably be doing fiberglass if I had any experience with it.  I think it would probably make the vehicle considerably lighter.  And there are pros and cons of each.  If I manage to start building my tumbler one day I will definately look into using fiberglass for some of the pieces.

Hey shaggy was wondering if I could ask for some help. My sons birthday is coming up and he wants a batman theme party . He wants me to build him a tumbler for his party . So I figured to make it out of cardboard . The problem is there are no templates out there for the body. I asked the forum for help and they told me to ask you. So please could you help me? I am just wanting to build from the seats forward . I wasn't for sure how to contact you other than this way.

Been getting some new details done on the Tumbler. Figured I would share. I hope to get the drive shafts modeled in today, or at least started.
