Very Cool Shaggy... I may have to resurrect my Tumbler build again one of these days

Now THAT is a build I would like to see restart!

I know it doesnt look much different, but everything on the cabin has ben moved an inch or more to correct some problems between the chassis an the exterior panels. Glad this nightmare is almost over.

And I followed what appeared to be an actual parting line for the separate molded pieces, here they are shown apart.

Please do!

Ugh, I don't envy you Shaggy. Why is it that no matter how hard we try, we end up going back to fix one little detail that threw everything off?

Love the look of it with no armor

Thanks guys. In reality I actually could have left it alone, but in the end it would have limited the radiator area's on either side of the engine, and I just wasn't going to stand for that. My model is not exact to the original by NO means, but I cannot stand for something to be, ya know, 5 or 7 inches off. thats just pathetic. 1 or 2 inches, yeah I can live with that.

Your attention to every detail is insane. Really nice work. I enjoy swinging by from time to time for a read.

Brad.

I'm curious as to what size engine you plan on using?  Looking really good so far

I've studied the engine bay of the actual Tumbler several times, and it seems to me that installing a early 90's big block 427 should not be an issue with a little tweaking here and there. I love a deep growl of a V8 engine (as well as the high pitch of a Ferrari). I am a 4th generation mechanic, built on small block chevy engines, and I've never once built a big block. So I feel that being as this is to be my very first car built from complete scratch, I should honor it by making it my very first big block build as well.

Fuel injected of course. I'm done with carbs.
