WAIT WHAAAAAAT?
Being one of the newer guys aroung here I feels safe in saying it's about F'ing time...
Congrats on the future build. really looking forward to it. keep in mind if you start you have to finish it...or everyone on this board will come lookin for you and I'm sure some know where you live...
I'm also in awe of your 3d modeling skills I wish I stuck with it all those years ago with TruSpace. I'm gonna have to try Sketchup again...
I would like a full cowl made out of metal not for wearing just a lawn orniment..

Unholy (11/27/2012) I'm gonna have to try Sketchup again...
Serious word of advice, DO NOT download Sketchup 8, Google sold out to Trimble and it SSUUUUUCKS! found a mirror download of Sketchup 7, thats what I use, and I plan to take it no further in upgrading.
If things work out right, I should have access to a heated 35x50 shop in the next month, and I will start gathering required items to begin a build.
The plan is to build the body, and the chassis at the exact same time, if room permits.

Thanks for the info Shag.
I still have Truspace 5 and 7 they only sold out to Microsoft
What sucks is when I bought 5 just a little while later Microsoft bought them and made it all free.
I tried Blender powerfull a bit of a learning curve and really buggy maybe it's gotten better.
I wanna find an 89 and make a looping animation of the car spinning in various levels of transparencies to put on my Ipad which. Will end up Velcro 'd in the car
I might give it a shot on the weekend it's been a long time I'm mostly a photoshop guy now...
In 5 months I will be able to get back to work on my car no garage winter sucks
Later dude

Do we have photo's of the Tumbler Cabin, without any of the panels on it? Just the inner skin by itself?

Hey Mr. 32, I really appreciate the reply. What I'm looking for is actually the inner skin of the Tumbler. The car consist of a chassis, an inner skin that I refer to as the cabin panel, and then the angular panels attach to it. I think I have discovered a major flaw in my Tumbler file and I'm trying to verify by pictures from several angles.

Since I believe that I have severely fowled up a section of the Cabin, whereas I thought the left and right sides of the cabin slope inwards towards the rear, they in fact, do not. I am now redrawing about 30 percent of the Chassis, Cabin, and outter panels. I'm also cutting the cabin roof for access as they did for the movie cars.
I'm just glad I found this out before I started working on the other versions just yet.

I'm also trying a new trick, called photo matching. Its mostly just to see how badly off my model really is from the original.
