I've a buddy doing the welding. Thought it best I get a professional do the bits you dont want failing.

Im currently getting some more of the frame cut, so thought I'd start the steering bearing housing.
I turned down some steel to make a bearing housing. Bob D mentioned in one of his posts a 5k lathe isn't necessary when building a tumbler, but it sure does make the creation process a lot more fun when you're making your own parts.
Also starting on the frame bracing. Just needed a 16mm bit to drill out the hole for the bolt.. Thanks Mr Ebay!! it's on the way.
Next Ill start on the support rod that mounts under the spring.

This is by far, the worst 1989 batmobile build ever. It looks nothing like it!
