Just figure it out as I go. It's got pretty limited turn to the right as the wheel will hit the front fork arm. But this is the same on the movie bike.
I'll draw it all up on my drawing first and animate it to see if it works.
Yes... I'm moving a little quicker then I thought with it.... neglecting my other duties.
I wonder how much work it will take to trim the tires to look like the movie bike!

I was wondering if it was a "chevy", "ford" or other style hub. I am trying to figure out if I want to build a true Batpod or a bike that was inspired by the pod. Something that I can make street legal and really ride around town.
Thanks
Jay

Mine are just a standard 5 stud Ford wheel hub. But Hoosiers aren't for highway use not street legal. I'd have a find another pair of tyres to fit the wheels.

Just about completed the front steering pivot support. I thought I'd make a piece that slid inside the pipe and could be bolted in place. This will spread the load along the pipe.

That's a great idea going into the tube like that. Nice work. I hadn't thought of doing that, luckily I will have much less payload.
Still trying to decide how the gun on that side turns with the wheel. Perhaps they are only attached via like a post in the center, and can "spin" horizontally, and the tie-rod which turns the wheel simultaniously turns that gun? You gonna worry about any of that now, at least keep it in mind, or just cross that bridge way later when you are adding accessories? Thanks again for posting, with great pics.

From the pics I've seen that's exactly how it works.. "Perhaps they are only attached via like a post in the center, and can "spin" horizontally, and the tie-rod which turns the wheel simultaneously turns that gun"... Again I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. It's nice to see your build at the same time... as you're a few steps ahead it's gets me thinking also.
