I get the picture, I think? The body frame is the inner and outer shell of the body. Keep up the good work!

ya... its both. i was unaware when i began that you could break it down into the cabin area and the shielding, so I'm just going along with what I have. The pictures are easy to work from if you do it in onle layer. When in done with this little guy ill try a larger one in the 2 sections.

Hey Drew2, your Tumbler is coming right along. I didn't know if you knew but Harbor Frieght has a miniture model of a Chevy 350 engine which would look great mounted in the rear of your Tumbler. It would give it a realistic look for not a lot of bucks.....I like the panel areas.....Great work!!! Dave

I'll look into the mini engine. Shaggy sent me one picture of the batmobile with the when it was completely bare (without the shell over it). Are there any more of those pictures?

Hey Drew, i agree with Dave i have that same model, and it adds great detail to the model, its in 1/6 scale, so it matches my paper model exactly. Heres another good shot

Thank you sir. That one's perfect. Ive been wondering about the windows, so ive built everything around them so i could compare, but this picture explicitly shows it. Hooray for less guess work. Yes, the plane underneath the ribs pops out easily so i can do the windows. Im thinking of just cutting them out, then putting another sheet underneath it so its slightly indented. I just wonder whether that'll be bold enough to make 'em show.

well considering the gauge of steel you have there, im sure it will show up just nicely! Thats what i did with my windows, only i used lexan. As well as the upper intakes, but there agian it was only two sheets of paper, so not as much of a noticeable indention. I feel that with your steel sheets it will be more pronounced, adding more to the model. Awesome work by the way!!!! Hope to see more soon!

I think the windows will stand out well with the thickness of the metal and also if the sheet you use to represent the glass is painted gloss and the car is flat. That contrast will help a lot. Good work so far too

I'm having trouble cutting the windows out. The older sheet metal was too thick, so i just found some thin stuff i can cut with some light tin snips, but i cant get into the window area to cut it without cutting the frame around it. If it were paper i could do the fold in half and cut thing, but I cant do that here. I'm gonna keep ignoring them unless someone has another way
