I found this photo from my now closed museum. The blue is lighting, there is no blue tint to the paint, it is a matt black finish.

The boat is in storage right now, but I am going to move it back to my Batcave next month for a rebuild and will take and post photos then. It was built by Mark Towle so it needs a lot of work to really finish it properly.

Dane,
Absolutely a perfect dash. One problem- NOW, I am changing everything I planned for mine, now that I see how good yours turned out. I was going to use the aircraft parts, but I'm going with the "screen look" as yours is done. Well played.
I'll save them for my other project....

I just made stuff up with some steel, alum and other stuff. I made it for me as every builder should do. Build what makes you happy that is what it is all about on this board. This is my first custom car, I have never attempted anything like this and I am an old man. I will say my work is far better than Mark Towles and he claims to be a pro, Ha! HA! Do what you want to do and we will support you; well unless you paint it pink lol!!!!

Bwayne was you ever able to make the Vett frame safe to drive?Did you have to replace the front end as well? Can you raise or lower the cars ride height. There is guy that has contacted me on wanting to buy one of Dougs bodies and putting it on a Vett frame I said I was not sure you got the bugs worked out of yours yet . Would you recommend the vett yet or not?

I have added additional bracing and support to the frame and for no more than it will be on the road, the frame will be fine. I have decided that my 89 will be a trailer queen. I will be making my 66 more of a daily driver. I do not think the vette is the best frame to start with and would suggest he use an older style solid frame. I will be able to raise the front with air but I am not doing anything on the rear to raise it.
