Shaggy (7/24/2009) its warped a good inch or so on the passenger side, i feel its due to that hing being broke on that side.
The hood sat crooked on my '72 Charger for a looong time, while I owned it. After I sold it, the guy replaced the springs / hinges with some that he pulled out in a junkyard, and the hood fit perfectly! I saw the car recently; it was awesome looking.
I love the idea of the custom interior! I think the new Camaro is pretty damn awesome looking, although I have yet to see one in person.

as soon as i can get up the 40 bucks for a good used set, im gonna put a new pair on my camaro and hopefully see if it helped any. Thats wild you havent seen any over there. My wife and I have seen 4 seporate ones so far. 2 red, one Black, and one orange. Here is one of the red ones that parked beside me yesterday at the library. I'm almost positive this is the same one that my wife and I sat in at the dealership. I could have bought it, but it was a V6, no options and my wife was not impressed with such.

Watched Transformers 2 and saw the yellow camaro. That would be neat if Shaggy had a black one and transformed into a batmobile! Hey Shaggy, I think your avatar is awesome!!

hey Rusty, thanks for your input. If it comes to it, i might just do that. You didnt have problems with the hood trying to fly up as you were driving around?

i got a new spring on my window regulator, and installed the passenger side window. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't as difficult as i expected it to be.
I just need gaskets and a bump stop at the bottom to keep it from falling off the window tracks and its finished via the passenger side.

Hey Nitro, my wife would like it to go back the way i found it. But i cant afford a paint job before we move, so i'm just gonna ride it around with sealer/primer like it is until i can do so. Plus i need the cowl induction hood, only STEEL this time.

So it was way, way too beautiful of a weekend to pass up working on the Camaro. Sunny, 85 Degree's with a good gust of wind blowing at all times. It was NICE!
I Had a u-joint on my station wagon commit suicide, so i decided to change that out before it ended up flipping the car.
i HATE inside locker u-joints now.
I went to pull-a-part and got some things for my Camaro, as i picked through the yard, i found this..
How could someone want to throw that away, i'll never understand. I would have gave them the $150 bucks the scrap yard gave them for the truck.
So i got a rear wire harness for the Camaro finally, got it installed in a few hours time, the wire harness completes the rear lights, as well as the interior lights, which are now upgraded from originals single dome light.
Here's a short video. Sorry for the poor quality, it was taken with my cell phone.

As you can see in that video, i've also installed my gauges, and my stereo is now wired and working
I also got this video, taken last night, first time seeing the lights turn on in the dark .

I purchased this booster. Its off a 69 chevy pick up, i figured, pick up, better brakes for heavier loads, must do the car some good.
The problem is, it doesnt match up with the bolt patturn for my car, so i had to do some work and drill two new holes here.
As well as get the armature rod threaded on up so i can adjust and shorten the rod later.
And the Booster set up to test fit and finish. I'm really liking the way this looks
Thats all i have for now. Hope to have more soon. I gotta get back to the Bat Pod
