Oh.

I'll have to add that to the list of allowed files.

What's the extension for adobe illustrator files?

That is incredible! GREAT JOB! We've been talking about it for years, and someone finally did it. And it looks amazing!

I agree with Jack - are you sure you want everyone to have this file?

But if you do - DH, the extension is .AI for Adobe Illustrator files.

Yeah, i guess i could post it in the members only area.   The only positive thing i saw about posting it to the general public is that we would possibly see more scratch built models pop up out of nowhere.

I will Post it in the members only area.  Under build logs i guess.

I'm glad you all liked it .   I printed them all out yesterday, and took them home and started cutting away on the ribs.  I have gotten to rib #10 and had to stop to fix supper, we had guest over.   I will resume work this afternoon and hopefully get done with the ribs and have them all set up in place.

Dont worry, i have been taking pictures this entire time, its not a digital camera so i will have to wait until i fill up the camera and develope it before i can post all my progress.

Until then .....

shagg...that's great. I will paitently wait for tumbler body panel plans. haha!! just kidding...of course you have your 89build to do...which, again, looks awesome. I will def. be getting CAD software when I start planning the body. I just love the ones of Dave's Rumbler you did. Do you agree that panels won't be the same on peoples builds because of the little differences in chassis?

thanks dude....

Im still not receiving notifications in my e-mail of new post for some reason

Hey Mr. A, i will definately put them out there for everyone to have just as soon as Doo Hee has the time to make it possible for me to attatch it in a post.

Hey Conrad, i actually do agree with you that the panels will be different.   BUT, let me also say this.   Given that someone wants to make a replica as precise to the original as possible (like me with the 89) i can see someone making a file available for panels.   Templates if you will, that you can project onto a wooden board and cut them out.      Thats actually my first intentions with these files that i just created, to have them printed on projector paper and projected unto a peice of plywood to cut out a full size batmobile.    I feel the same thing can be done with a set of panels for the Tumbler.   Maybe i can work on that in my spare time and create something up for you.    All you would have to do is scale it to your vehicles dimensions.

Shagg...by ALL means do you first. I can respect builders prioroties. (needless to say right?) yes that would be very cool though. I'm very into technology so i kinda look forward to trying the panels myself. first things first though. I need to build my skeleton.

Projecting the templates...wow never thought of doing it like that. Very cool. Is that how it's done out there when people design things scaled down on paper? either way...a good idea.
