Hey Shaggy, seats look good but are you sure you want to use those on the final car? The Batmobile seats are pretty recognizable and fairly available. I was going to go with the type of seats I have in the Rumbler but  I think some Recaro style seats with the open netting on the headrest give it a more original look. Just a thought....BWD

I might go with the original later on, but for the moment i think i will just use these seats, considering its all i have.

There are pleanty of junk yards around here, chances are one of them has some Recaro seats.

most will never know...those look like there in good shape...just put a head rest on them..some of the movie just show the head rest sticking above the seat

Adding a headrest, i might do that, make it adjustable too.   Main thing i am looking at is that 3rd seat that i am going to add to for the coming child.

It might!   we went and got new ultrasounds yesterday morning, they have a GREAT shot of the right side of its body, and you can very clearly make out the leg and femer (SP?) bone.     I cant post them yet because my wife hasnt stopped holding them, so as soon as she is able to part with them i plan on bringing them to work and posting them to show you what I'm talking about.

Just thought i would share , its getting close to that time, about 15 weeks away.

first shot is the ear, baby had his/her face planted straight down, so we couldnt see him/her.

Thats the fist that keeps punching my wife's bladder every 2 minutes. lol

And my favorite shot, because its so clear, i cant believe how clear it came out.

a perfectly formed upper leg, back, shoulder, elbow, femer bone, and lower arm, all visable.

I cried, i wont lie, I'm just happy as all get-out!

Best days of my life, watching little Mr A's coming into the world. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Ok not MUCH to tack on to my Batmobile build other than 2 pictures and a quick discription. I had a slew of new things to post on my OTHER builds, but i just thought i would share with you the picture of the frame that i got for my batmobile build.

Batmobile

its actually 2 frames cut into several pieces, but only 1 front, and 1 back piece. So I talked my dad out of hauling it off for scrap and let me see if i can build "something" out of it. Of course he was persistent in knowing what that "something" was and when i told him a full size version of the batmobile he just rolled his eyes! lol.

I dont think my dad understands the obsession, thank god my wife does!

Here is i 1988 Standard Camaro seat, it is one that i threw in a trash pile 3 years ago, but dug it out to give you guys an idea of the "new" seats i picked out for my Batmobile since i decided not to use my '72 Camaro seats.

Batmobile

Hope to have more updates REAL soon, wish me luck!
