Hey there eveyone. I bought the Mark Towle build. The body was very nice, and it appears the stretched vette frame is going to work. Over the next few months, I am going to disassemble it and build it back properly. While it looked very cool when it was delivered, I soon found many problems with the build. As it was going in a museum, I did not have time to do anything to it. Once I get the body off and it warms up a bit here, I will start my own build log showing the original construction and repairs and modifications. I am not sure I will keep the Vette donor car, it depends on what needs to be done to make it road worthy. I will be reading Rusty's build log many more times before I am finished. Like Rusty, I will be doing the work myself only I doubt it will go as quick as his build. And, thanks Jack for the info and advice!!!!

Hey B. Wayne, I'm sure I have pics of your car being built. I took pictures of it awhile back when I was down there picking up my body from Mark T. Here's a couple of those pics...He said it was for a museum....When you start your build log I can post all of them if you like......BWD

Hey BWD, I am in Indiana and man is it cold in the Batcave. Can not wait for summer to build a new shop and get some serious work on the Bmobile done. MT's bodies are pretty good but like any body needed a lot of work. It still needs a lot of work to come up to my standards. MT and I had a falling out, so I did not get everything I paid for, but that is water under the bridge. Now it is to cold in my unheated shop to pull the body and work out all of the issues with the chassis, motor and interior. MT did do the interior as that is something I wanted to do. I just purchased the correct steering wheel from the UK and it is on its way. Jack is building me the exhaust tips as they did not come with the MT build. I will say that MT's side mechanics are very nice. I have read and reread Rusty's build log, but can not read some of the others (Jack) because I do not have enough posts. I am now working on the correct Batspinoffs and the front turbine inlet. I am trying to build most if it myself, but also would like to get a little something from all of you guys on CLTC just to make all of you part of my build/rebuild. Looking forward to meeting everyone building what I think is the best Batmobile of all time.

Sorry, I meant to say Mt DID NOT do the interior. All MT did was mount a body on a stetched corvette chassis for me. He did put on some very nice side mechanics. My rebuild is coming as soon as it warms up. I will post before and after photos in the next month or so. The Batcave is really cold this time of year

You are the man!!!!!! Killer build!!!! I do not have a lot of problems, but I will say that MT's build was a little disappointing. And Kory, well there may small children reading this so I won't comment. I live in Idiana so my Batcave is a little chilly so I can not do much right now. I am build a new shop with heat as soon as it warms up a bit. Your build was what I needed to see to get my butt in gear. Jack has been a lot of help, and he is going to make my exhaust tips for me. I do like MT's glass, and can not wait to cut it and tilt the front clip. I am looking forward to talking to all of you guys and getting your input as I post photos. Right now I am trying to locate the correct throttle quadrant. Not many aircraft grave yards in the area. Any idea where I might find one? Oh and by the way your photos and info in your build log are fanatastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Wayne,

I'll try to help with anything ya need (I'm in the UK). Let me know.

BTW: Mark's side-mechanics were the 'best' I've seen so far. Pic's would be nice ?
