Sorry no good updates, I have been so wrapped up in the fireball Run for the last few months, the 89 has been put on hold. Check out my story of the fireball at the 66 batmobile site, click on the numbers page 6 and page 7 at the bottom to keep reading. http://p218.ezboard.com/f1966batvehiclesfrm19.showMessageRange?topicID=16.topic&start=126&stop=150 Actually I may have to yank my radiator in my 66 and use the 89 radiator I bought to get my 66 to run cooler. Maybe I can use my 66 radiator in the 89, not sure at this point. I want to get it back in my yard this year so I can start making progress. But my son goes to college next year.... using most of the extra batfunds up for the next four years.

Hey guys, not dead, just playing with my OTHER batmobile a lot since the Fireball. 4 monster jam events for the SCA Star Car association see starcarcentral.com and my blog http://starcarcentral.wordpress.com/2008/01/29/grave-digger-must-die/ just click on the red dates on the calendar to see lots of photos and updates. Here I am driving in the Arizona Diamondbacks arena with John Seasock waving, me shooting the flames and avoiding big dirt clods in front of 40,000 fans! It was fun, but then disaster struck! See my blog for more photos and and "dirt" on the event! Getting parts (thruster, side parts, dashboards switches and dials) in anticipation of making some real progress on the car this year. stay tuned, bat fans!

Hey Nate, you might consider looking at a Gibson racing radiator. You can buy them through Summit and get different sizes. I also like using the stainless steel radiator hoses to help dissapate engine heat. Then the best item is a B&M oil cooler. They adapt right into a remote oil cooler. Get the thermostatically controlled one that turns on at 160 degrees. You keep the fluids cool and the engine won't overheat. I've learned this with my different hotrods over the years. Just my humble suggestions....BWD

Great news, Nate!!! I got your e-mail awhile back, btw. I have been traveling, so not much time to respond. However, I am sitting in the airport and I will be back in California late tonight. I will be sure to drop you a line this weekend!
