| i think this was discussed elsewhere, but the 89, and the 92 were the same width cars from what i have gathered, the side mechanics where changed a bit, (the '92's were all put on a single sheet). I have did screen grabs of the cars from both movies, and i cant tell a bit of difference in the width of the cars. But as far as the replica's i have found that they are more narrow than the original '89, as Big Wave Dave is correcting on his replica

Here's the motor I have in the car, it's got edelbrock upgraded carbs and manifold, so the HP should be over 300, but I don't really care to add any more power, all though there are lots of ways to get it to almost 400 HP. If I were batman I would want it, but I would also design a car I could see where I was going, that had doors..... | Here is a photo DC shared with me and said I could post, of his rear roll cage and placement for gas tank and battery. I want the battery in the front, or away from propane and gas, to avoid KABOOM as much as possible. Any other rear cage improvements, ideas? I am thinking of twin gas fills, on both sides for easy gas filling, and then there is the third input hole that looks like fule as well on the passenger side. What shoud that do? Anyone have a sorce for that fuel door?

| That is a standard external aircraft refuel cap and receptacle. It is the actual refueling point for the real car.

| N8 that looks like a really smart way to reinforce your fuel cell area. I also like the drop down floor where the fuel cell sits. That frame looks like it could really take a hit . Nice Job Don.

The diffrence between the 89 and 92 is the rear fender width and not the body.Thats what I was under the impression....actually I thought that both the real cars 89 and 92 were of the same width and only the promos and replicas were made narrow in order for them to fit on a standard car transporter.

| Fuel caps: http://aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php Alternately there are some real nice custom motorcycle caps that are sold for fabricators of custom tanks that all but disappear and have a pop out mechanism when pushed in.
