Wouldn't it have been a lot easier just to tub it out and shorten the rear end?

Shorten the Drive Shaft?  You mean narrow the rear end?  That's what Rusty said and I would have to say that yes if you really wanted to use those wheels and ites that would have been a better way to go.  Or even widen the quarters if you want to go that wide.

We talked about widening the fenders to make an 89, and that is a lot of fiberglass work, making the axle smaller, but that is a lot of work, buying new tires (but those are the RIGHT tires, and I got hung up on that) So here are the

photos!

Even though Eddie is putting the car back together, here is your only chance to see a gull wing 92 batmobile with one side open. It would be A LOT easier to get in and out of as well!  They should have had Eddie around to build this

for them!  I think it looks pretty cool!  But, "Don't spend any money or time making it look less like the movie car" mantra is back in effect.

This is the new skinny center channel, for a little more shoulder room.

Wait, you mean none of you guys are going to make the batmissle part work?

This is just the "furst" step,  then the wheels will fold in, and parts will shoot off....
