i'm looking to desgin and contruct a custom batmobile , and i was wondering what do you use to take a mold of something so big , lol not the entire body , but lets say the hood of the 89 car?

Something as big as a Batmobile and with so many compound curves has to broken down into sections using dams. The 89 have somewhere around 18 separate sections.

since some of those pieces are fairly big , do you still just use regualr mold rubber?

No you have to make a fiberglass mold. Rubber is only used for small objects.

so cast a fiberglass piece in a fiberglass mold? is tere a certin way to make a fiberglass mold?

Wow Mark must be on vacation lol. I figure he would have already eaten this guy's spleen with some mustard for asking such beginner questions. If you're just starting out like me I recommend reading "Competition Car Composites: A Practical Guide ". It will give you a lot of information. There are other good fiberglass books as well but I'm finding out that this one is angled more towards just the glassing aspects and less towards the frame, paint job, and electrical systems. Some of the books on fiberglass only deal with glassing a little and then talk about paint jobs and everything else. It has given me enough info that I can have a real conversation with the guys on here that actually know what they are doing. After reading up on the starter points I'm sure that the guys on here will be more then glad to help, they've helped me a lot. Thanks guys.
