Found this online today.
Heroic Hollywood
"Robert Pattinson’s The Batman will be filming some of its Gotham City scene in Glasgow, Scotland. Currently filming in London, the Robert Pattinson film will eventually move to Glasgow next month."
There are numerous photo-images appearing online claiming to be of the new batmobile.
One that has the image labeled Heroic Hollywood is the most common.
(This one looks like the one from Teen Titans.)
Anyone seen anything that verifies or disproves this.

The Batman film will begin filming in Glasgow Scotland in February. It won't be long until the new Batmobile will be seen and caught on photo-image on the streets of Glasgow.
It has been conjectured that this version of Batman will probably have a tone and feel very similar to
"Gotham by Gaslight."
This seems right given that Glasgow is very Gothic.
None of these rumors have been confirmed.
Anyone seen anything on the period setting for the movie?

Quite correct.
Rather than a reference to the technology of the time, I believe they were making references to the gothic architectural settings and Victorian styles.
No one has yet identified the time period for the new "Batman" movie.
But, they have identified the setting background as Glasgow Scotland.
I suspect at this time we are talking about a possible time period that may go as far back as the forty's.

| As mentioned by others, having Gaslight in my video collection I agree that I'm not really sure where comes into play in a Modern 90s or whatever setting. Unless they mean that it's lighter and not such a year round dark cold night with everything looking like the back alley covered in garbage and used kitchen grease
