Ok boys and girls, I am starting my build log. I am new to this forum so bear with me. I will be posting photos of the MT build I bought, its disassembly and rebuild as soon as I can. I am starting with a decent body with some nice side mechanics. Hopefully the stretched donor corvette chassis is usable. Maybe Jack can post some photos of my build until I can figure out how to. I tried to attach a photo of my DK averger, not sure it worked. Stay tuned this is going to be fun!!!!.

Again welcome to CLTC.

I like the fact that there is a lot of hood to engine clearence using a vette.

I look forward to reading your story and seeing your rebuild.

Jack thanks for posting the photos. More to come very soon.

Also this build site is not a trash Mark Towle site and I would appreciate those that respond please keep that in mind. Trashing Kory???? Just kidding, let's keep this fun and friendly.

Thanks!!!!

They were both there when Dee and I visited in 2006.

Maybe the topic name should be Dane's build and "rebuild" log.....

Well just got off the phone with my waterjet guy, going Friday to get the wheel Bat spinoff's and the steering wheel bat cut. I am going with 1" thick alum. for the spinoffs. Taking my camera, should be fun.

Hey Jack, maybe we should rename this build as CHOP, CUT & REBUILD, ha!ha!

It is a weird system, it is a 12 volt actuated system but does not work very well. Hangs up when opening. Yes the sping is part of it, but the whole system is a cobbled mess and is getting tossed for a better system.

Hey B. Wayne, love the build so far, just curious, the first picture that you posted, as well as the attachment (same picture) is that the body you started with???

Great work so far, hope to be in your shoes one day with my build
