Here is the internal structure removed and you can see how large on an area there is.

Here is a look through the drivers window that twisted welded tubing that follows the inside of the panels was totally unnecessary but I just wanted to see if I could do it.

Here is the mess I call the front end Id say 30% of it will be simplified and triangulated for better strength. When I first started I was just trying to assemble the panels now I am looking into how I can increase the strength and reduce the weight. All this has led to an excellent pattern for the chassis I plan to build.

Even this rolling frame is no substitute for a heavy duty jig that I will construct for the chassis build. Here are three of the different side wings I will have bodywork and paint done to them so that I can make molds of these pieces. It would have been nice to take all six and have them fine tuned but that cost more money so in an attempt to keep the cost sown only half will be finished. Almost ever fiberglass piece and collection of panels will have to be finished then molded in this way. The end result should be a piece that weighs 1/3 the weight and be super strong. At least that is the hope.

Here is the last pic of the night the front lower pieces have been redone and a 4x4 sheet of Teflon type material is sitting in the cockpit. The inside dimension is massive for a 2/3 scale car but even though I dropped the floor a few inches below the panels I may have to drop the seating area even more to get my 6'-1" body in there. Terry should be way more comfortable at 5'-9" but then he has those damn bat ears on. lol May have to cut two slits in the roof for his ears. Thanks for looking....BWD

Oh well its been pretty busy here on the miniT. I even started the chassis for the miniT2. Its going to be a more heavier square tubing. Here I am making a brace that will go under that panel in the picture. This has to be reinforced under the panel to support the stands for the wings

Its easier to cut and fit the pieces on top of the panel even though in reality this mount will go under the panel

Here is the front pod that I redid to simplify the steel. We have been extremely busy with swimming pool construction but I have managed to sneak in a little time here and there
