So today I got a good six hours into the welding. It was pretty much non stop fabrication as i had figured out pretty much what I needed to get done. I established the floor of the miniT as low as I could to give maximum space to the occupants. Was even able to sit inside the car and see that there was enough head room although Im not sure how the bat ears are going to fit in there. I got the rear intakes installed and really just have the lower box and to fill the area between the box and the diagonal side panels. Heres a pic of the rear wing brakes

Its weird because last week I was building some lambo parts and they have a rear wing that moves up and down. Over a period of three tries I was able to really make it light and strong. That's my goal with these wing brakes. Its funny how one job transfers to another job like this. Heres the little side box

Here's me checking out the 1935 auburn Boattail Speedster in auburn Indiana. I had a chance to meet many of the guys that will help me out with my lambo builds. I'm hoping at some point in my life to build an auburn replica.
