Hey Rod, found the Batshifter. So how are you doing with your build? How about some updates and photos, Jack loves photos.

Ditto. This new guy would like to see some pics too. Even if it's simply pics of your parts collection.

Thanks to Jim, we worked out a deal for a 66 kit in December. The donor gets here on the 29th (a 75 Lincoln 2dr. Cont. 460, C-6 and runs like a dream), so I'll have a little time to get it ready while the house is getting finished.
I have been out of the shop for quite a few years and miss working on projects. Although muscle cars are quite straight forward, I've done a few kits and there is always a journey of hurry up and wait. So....as I usually do, I'm going to bite off more than I can chew. ..... I have always started 2-3 cars at a time, keeping the hurry up and wait to a minimum. One car goes to paint, and the other is in assembly. My idea is that the 66 will start in November (donor) and the kit in December. The chassis for the 89 will need some work and I'm trying to put it off until the body shows- so that's a while away.
So after much consideration, I decided that while I start the 66, I'm going to start on the most ambitions project on my plate yet: A BATWING REPLICA... Nothing functional (obviously) except to move around and display for local events and I have another BD-5 fuselage that I will use to start as a center point and start some sculpting work.
I have no idea where to start other than my body skills. It's truly a scratch build and I'll call on several friends for help.. including the guys on the boards. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts, please feel free to vent. I have already collected several parts (interior aircraft gear, wing lights, an electric golf cart drivetrain, and some other odds/ends). I also have several pics to work from and some "surely inaccurate" measurements from some of the original posters and promo for the 89 movie.
