Got my Batmobile body from Doug at Gotham Cruisers yesterday. Wow! My body from a year ago was very good and I was extremely happy with the thickness and what I was able to do with it. However, he has made these bodies even nicer! Super reasonable price now too. This body will be very easy to ready for primer and paint. I am looking forward to this build for sure. The darn thing was finished a week ahead of schedule too! I suggest Doug to everyone who wants to do a build. Will start working on the project on Saturday. I'm very happy to be working in a proper race shop surrounded by F1, Indy, and other formula cars this time around! Casey

Hello, I have finished building the chassis and have finalized the drivetrain in the turbine batmobile. I will be fitting the body tomorrow and should have the car finished around the end of April. The car is turning out fantastic and I am very happy with the build. Casey

I am new to the forums and this build is just amazing. From a technical and engineering standpoint all the way to pure aesthetics, just, wow. That is ridiculously inspirational. I am looking at the way you have the frame laid out and comparing it to how the body will mount. Are the side intakes going to be functional and feed the engine? Also is there a way to route exhaust around to the back and reinject fuel for an afterburner setup/imitation. Just can't think of that gorgeous car with it's soon to be amazing sounding engine cranking up with no fire coming out of the back. ; ) Supreme build, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks for sharing your amazing work.

I put the body on today. It will take about another month untill I have some custom shafts made to finish the engine setup before I can drive it though. I am going to make the dash have digital avionics with a touch screen central monitor and computer. The car will have access to the internet and GPS amongst other fun. My car is scheduled to be at the Alt Park Concours d'Elegance in Cincinnatti Ohio on June 12th if anyone wants to come. I will also have my 1965 Cheetah race car there too. Casey

This is very cool indeed. We had many discussions about feasibility of using actual turbine on 1989 batmobile before but you are the ONE to finally make it happen. Mega Kudos to you man.
