He has removed the photos. Paul is right, there are some who don't want to connect to other owners.  Often it's because they don't want their friends and family to know that there ARE any others.     Also Bob knowing he didn't have the OK of WB to sell these items,  was usually secretive and told buyers to be as well, or the WB would take their cars.  Fearing the seizure of their cars, they put them in basements, told everyone it was a "stunt car, made by Barris himself for the film" and no one bothered them.

These bodies were going for 15-20 grand for a while, so he is taking a hit.  And answering questions from people who don't want to buy, but want to talk gets old fast!

He may just be pissed because he bought high, and has to sell low.  His best bet is to finish it, play with it, and sell it for a profit!

The funny thing is that he just upped the starting bid on his second auction to $12,950. No one bid on the first auction at $7950

He also states he is open to reasonable offers.....

As this one has been given the 'OK', I think it's a Hell of a deal and worth every cent.

Pity I can't afford the price and cost of shipping to the UK (wonder what shipping would be?). At $8,000 it would be close to being the cheapest Kit I've ever been offered

I cant believe with the exchange rate against the dollar being so good ($8000=£4000), there is anyone UK based who is not interested

What I'd want to know is...

If the body was delivered 10 years ago AND Clark is selling it, why is he offering a $6000 body in 4 weeks time? Is he molding this one and selling more? I'm confused

Mr. A.

(check your PM's by the way)

What do you THINK happens when you leave your 89 body laying around for a few years at a shop that builds turnkey 66's?

Gee... is that a splash I hear?
