Yes I have. (scratches head)

I'm confused... we've talked about that stuff before. I have all the "small parts" gathering dust on the bench.

Same goes for the bathubs. (Hell, even the tall bat molds if someone's got a few K handy)

One just needs ASK. hehehehe

I E-mailed this guy about the body as well ....real As@Ho^&. Just wants the cash and offers nothing about the history, etc. Claims that Butts built it himself...not a replica !! Also, the E-bay listing initially stated that the item location was in NJ. I questioned the seller and he changed it to VA. Very suspicious !! Buyer beware !!

Yeah and even worse its the same old warped body that is being sold on another website.

I just heard that a body shop estimated $14,000 to do the body work.  So you pay $10,000 for what I also heard is an incomplete kit (missing several parts that were never sent to the buyers) and $14,000 worth of body work.  Man you could have $30,000 just in the body.

Kevin you may want to raise your price on your kits since they will be the Best kit available.

Well, looks like he edited his auction yet once again !! He removed the Buy-it Now for $8000. He still has no bids, the pictures are not clear and for some reason he thinks he can't take a deposit with the balance paid at pick-up.

Stay clear !!!

Nope none of those.  I think its hight too but to get the body "perfect" I can see it.  I know the going rate even around here is $50 an hour and $80 for custom work.  I can't believe it has gotten that high.  But you saw what little I got done for $1600.

Its even harder for someone like you and me to believe because we somewhat enjoy what we are doing.  That's why we do it ourselves, well and I don't have that kind of money to throw around.  I would rather put that money into another project or two.

The one picture is clearly Don Curry's car and the trunk lid has a sharp peek running down the center of it, could this be Nates car?

Oh... so now I'm "a Bob Butts FAN"?????

I took that pick and sent it to Clark, his daughter and my sister are friends.

Too funny.

I can't say that I'm not a fan of "Now Silent Bob" though. I thought he was the best of all the car customizers and a hell of a guy. (Sorry Jay)

I don't know what you guys are talking about though about "not complete". Was made WAAAAYYY back in the day and was a solid and complete as they came. 5 of them were sprayed up by Bob's glasser at the same time and the other owners are totally happy with them.

But remember, the sale price back in the day was 15K for the kit, so he's takin a 50% hit on the car here. (That black spot on my pic is him writing the check) So from his point of view, he's selling the car pretty cheap.

And he doesn't need the fan hassle, he's right actually. Here's the kit, you got the money, buy it!... if not... leave me alone.

Old school Batmobile owner out there, these are the guys who don't come on the board and guys that you've never heard of. Guys that bought cars in the early 90's, before all the BS went down.

I don't think he's trying to screw anybody, just wants to sell something he can't use.

As for the change of address, HE'S in NJ, but he shipped the body down to VA to an experienced mousemobile builder down there and from the looks of the auction, it was never touched. That pic on the truck is the one I sent him from Bob's to show him that his car was done.

I don't think he ever took any new ones.
