Now that is just cool Terry

Not much of an update, got (what i guess you call) the gutters on the sides of the hood finished, hope to have the rest of it down both sides of the turbine finished soon, then it will be the dreaded rear of the car from here on out....so many curves, so much to tackle.

hay shaggy, I was wondering ...out of the two cars (tumbler & 89) which one seems to be the hardest to do in that program??

the 89 DEFINATELY the 89! This program has no tools to assist making curves, therefore straight, solid parts are very well encouranged, and between the two, the Tumbler has many straight sections, whereas the 89 does not. . Of the three models i have built (or buiding) so far in this program, the Tumbler, the Pod, or the '89, the Pod has been the most fun for me, just for all the intricate little details in the model.

But I hope from the experience i have gained building the other two, the 89 will be my crowned acheivement of them all. Yeah it is meant mostly to give me my ribs i need to build a body, but i hope to take it further, and build a frame, suspension, driveline, interior, seats, everything. I also hope to have two types of innerd's, one being the original set up with a 350 chevy, and the other with a jet engine replicating the "movie" car feel.

Gotta go update my "other" build

Tossing around the idea of making a second set of templates for a scrunched "mini" version of the '89, somewhat like i did for the Tumbler, for anyone who wants to make a not-so-expensive, and not-so-long version of the '89.   I wont be able to offer many sizes of templates for the '89 like i did with the Tumbler tho, just bc of the shere complexity of this vehicle.

It's adorable you could make a little economy bat.

I did some more work, got the gun doors finished, except for some small details.

Batmobile

Also working on the rear of the car, its hard with all those curves intertwining with one another.

Batmobile

And just an overall view so far.

Just letting you guys know i'm still playing around with this model, learning a new program called Blender, i'm hoping it will give me more realistic renders of my models, textures, etc. Its quiet a complicated program, but i'm working at it .

Batmobile

I'm working on the '89 mostly, but i havent figured out how to get "lighting" effects, so it doesnt look like nothing but an '89 bat shadow. So i used a picture of the Tumbler instead
