I dont know...aircraft skins are installed pretty similar. Then I seen Chins car and knew that if I combined his fin work with what I had it would work. !/4 inch wood will flex a bit for the large areas. I was stuck until I had a little help. Once I install the scored parts at the right position I will cut back the scallops to the proper shape. Kinda sick today have the freaking Flu...so no progress. Shaggy is amazing... HAve a great day.

Thanks guys, i got started on the rear stabalizer fins, the flat section of the rear fenders, as well as the cabin. Now one thing that kept throwing me off on the drawings vs actual pictures of the car was that the cabin in the drawings are drawn about 2-3" too wide at the base, this caused me to keep drawing my cockpit too large. I adjusted inward on both sides 2-3" as per pictures of the original car, and it seems to be lining up much better. But as time goes, changes will be made, and this may not be the case, it could turn out the drawings are correct, and i'm wrong. Who knows at this point. Here's a few pictures here you can see what im talking about, the blue lines represent where the bottom edge of the cabin are suppose to be, but to me that looked like it drapes way to far out on the fenders from pictures of the car i've seen. Perhaps a mistake in the drawings?

Shaggy...Dude , the drawings are a little off!! I cross checked the 1/10 scale DC car I just recieved. Almost everything is based on the cut down Jay car for 6 flags. The fins are way off in the scallops. The cockpit area is off. The rest is pretty good. I just ordered some casting silicone and resin. Going to make a duplicate then cut the duplicate in sections spaced every 14 inches (fullsize ) but using the outside lines. Kinda like you did, but the outside lines will make this perfect. It will take me a couple of weeks but will email you everything to adjust when I am done . Then with fullsize templates front to rear these cars will be easy as 1.2.3. I have the side profiles all complete but cant install untill the front to back formers are ready. Your drawing is awesome. Very excited at this point since I found a good scale car. Take it easy hot shot...

Dude, now that is sweet! The front is kinda giving me Pontiac vibes, i'd buy it, but i'm honestly saving up to finish up my camaro and 4x4 truck at this point Those projects have stretched on for almost 2 years now, way WAY longer than they should have, and you know what happens when a project takes too long..... ....you start to lose interest.
