| Thanks guys... They all knew I was a bit batty, but this project confirmed it. not only that but everyone, including my wife, loves everything cool about cars. my wife has documented proof that she loves driving and handling her little turbo spyder eclipse - it's called two speeding tickets. With her car I used to do 90 degree turns from the street into the driveway for the kids amusement(and first and foremost, myself of course)...i say used to cause she now has 3 month old Pirelli's so I'll be gentle when I drive it now.
...does it come in black?

| Hey Conrad, That is one good looking family. I think that's whats nice about the internet you can meet people and converse without the societal restrictions. I 'm always amazed at how we think we are so different yet we have so much in common. We are so fortunate to live in America at this time in history. Its a great time to be alive. Now when I tell people I am building the Batmobile I pause so they have a chance to laugh. I usually think yeah laugh away...BWD

| Yeah when I think about Heath Ledger's death or anyone's for that matter I think about that line in Clint Eastwood's movie "Unforgiven". He talks about killing a man not only do you take away everything he has but everything he's ever going to have. That's powerful stuff. And that screams out to the living "make each day count" because we only have a short time on this earth. We are dead forever. Just my thoughts.... I wanted to also say that I admire you for stepping up and being a part of those young boys life. Life is not about money or things its about the relationships we build and maintain. I just wanted to say what you have done in your wife's life is admirable....BWD

Hey, thanks for the kind words Dave..and for the inspiration. thanks to this site, thanks to all. Yeah, I'm thankful for everyday. I know how unique this life of ours is. I try to stay positive and always do unto others. And while i'm here in this life, I'm going to drive a Batmobile.

Eden, maybe you should think "I will have a batmobile". How long it takes is something that can't be avoided, so if you think on that, it'll drive you nuts. cause while your thinking of time, it's passing you by. Use the time to get all the information, and parts, inspiration, advice, and knowledge you need to create your dream.
