Jack, I just checked my 1:18 hotwheels and it looks symetrical on both sides, whew

Does this mean it was moulded from the original

Mr A,

A mold doesnt warp and shrink like the above, there are considerable diff's all through those molds. If one had acess to the onstar car perhaps a simple measurement form one side to the other would confirm if indeed the original was flawed...of course if the onstar is original...lol.

Thanks for the 6 cents Don.

I was just pointing out that successive moulding could have caused the difference, rather than being a 'true' flaw from the original. I take your point about fibreglass warping though (I was kinda stretching it)

not just the intakes are diffrent ..the measurement on the sides is off too...by 2 or so inchs.if i remember right.....i didnt notice the intake holes where off until that pic thought....maybe thats why i had so much trouble getting that one scoop in!!!!!
