Anyone notice that the side intakes are different? One is flater and less pointy at the front. You can see it clearly in this picture. I don't get the credit for this find.

Jack,
Why do you keep postings pictures when they don't mean anything?
What's important is what Bob told Brett.

Is that from your car?
I don't have a batmobile, but I have a remote R2-D2

Do you think this is intentional, or that over the years one side got messed up?

True, Nate. But noticing and recording the flaws makes it easier to identify the cars.

Nate's right on half that point...like most movie prop cars...scalped together on a deadline under a mass of activity before the widespread use of cnc foam carvers machines...like the Freeze mobile. There's more irregularities in there like the lower curve above the inlets is not as prominent on one side as the other. Now the Futura of course is/was Perfect I think as it wasn't a rush movie prop car.

Original 89 carved out of foam (see E.B.) and built by John Evens & team at Pinewood. Returns cars changed a little from the original in the USA (transportation problems ?) 'Replica' moulds (Molds) taken from Returns cars or 6 Flags? (not sure if this is confirmed yet). Your pic is of a mould right ? Then the difference could have occured anytime, not just right at the start. Even if the moulds are taken "from the original screen used car", it doesn't mean the flaw is in the original. The mould could have warped as it was curing. Lots of oppertunities during fibreglassing to F*** Up your project (temperature/humidity, wrong 'mix' of resin & catylist or gelcoat, etc) I can't believe that the original 89 (made in England) would have had such a major 'flaw' in shape and not get corrected, even on a very tight deadline. Just some thoughts
