Sorry guys I feel like I have been letting you down. I was spending too much time trying to help folks at another site learn more about the 89 Batmobile. Well like several of you told me it was just a waste of time. So anyway here is a comparison for you to judge. The first picture is a screen capture from BATMAN SE DVD. Pay very close attention to the Triangles, circles, and welds. On and the nutplates near the edge of the triangles. Notice how the line up to the same spots on the Turkey Feathers. And now the OnStar car. Also here look at these pictures. Pay attention to the turkey feathers. Look at the shape of them, the number of them, the gaps between them, etc.... Same? The above picture I actually posted to see if I could see what they knew about the car. And sadly it worked to well. They pointed out that in the left picture (OnStar) there is no inners and what they called unfinished sheetmetal. Where in the right picture (screen capture) there is a nice inside detail with "small round object". Well of course we all know that Tim Burton wasn't happy with the flame in BATMAN so for RETURNS a new system was used. From BATMAN From RETURNS Much nicer in RETURNS So what happened to the inners? Well our good pal Dave gave us the answer to that a long time ago. The dang thing is just sitting in a pile of parts at WB. Now I'm open for debates but I still believe that there were only two complete cars built. They were used in BATMAN, BATMAN RETURNS, and ONSTAR. I have however found a few things that make you say hummmm. So what do you guys think?

Great detective work, Jack! I've been watching your "back and forth" with great interest. I'm sure most of the awesome people here on CLTC can see the truth right in front of their eyes. Heck, you've been pretty darn thorough in your comparisons!!!

I agree with Justin.
It's obvious that this car is the 89, 92 and OnStar. You'll never convince the GG guys that.
I've actually tried to convince Kory over the phone with no luck.
The car is one and the same. I believe that my clown tripper find was also some nice proof to your additional exceptional finds.
*tips hat*
I don't have a batmobile, but I have a remote R2-D2

They have to know it's the same car by now. They just won't admit it. That is the only reason Kory would have taken the photos down...

I think I'm too busy to think about the Batmobile. Too busy Christmas shopping for the kids (running around like a chicken with its head cut off )...only 10 days left until Christmas.
Maybe " SANTA" will sell me a kit for $8000

Very nice work. I never noticed the missing section of the afterburner. However, you said Dave supplied those pictures, but I don't think I've ever seen them. How many other ones are just lying around unseen?
