I agree, now that I get a look at it. In the photos of George and crew working on the car, we see them building a metal frame over the front and front fenders of the car. Is that the same treatment they gave to the rear of the car?
I haven't seen any build photos of the rear of THE CAR, but I would assume it to be the same treatment. Tony might be able to shed some light on it. -Matt

WOW! What a great day that was. I know Tony does this all the time but man it was awesome to meet all of my custom car heros, and I do mean all of them. George Barris, Dick Dean, Dean Jeffries, Chip and Sam Foose, Marcel DeLey, Vic Edelbrock, Bill Hines, Pete Chapouris, and countless others. Tony thanks again for everything, you're the best!

Excellent guitars, Tony! Someone posted pics of them on the 66Batmobile site. Did you guys get Billy G to try them out? Jack has some amazing talent, and is a great help as well. I know he's busy with his own projects, but now that you mention it, I'd love to get his input; So, Jack...if you were building(using fiberglass) a one-off replica of THE CAR using a '79 Lincoln , how would you do it? I was thinking about having the sub-frame built over the car like in the original build pics, then making fiberglass body panels...but not sure exactly how to go about it. -Matt
