Now - what about shortening each of the arms levers and widening the center ring... Then instead of a steel or aluminum rod in the center, you use a hollow tube that you can route the propane through for the flame? Thoughts?

That's a good idea Justin. It should be easy to mount the rods to a ring to go around the end of the flame system.

You'll get less movement by shortening the rods but they probably could be shortened some.  If I knew more about the flamer then I could design around it.  How big of a hole would it require?

I am thinking half inch, but what do I know? Just enough for the propane line to run through, then the thing can flare out at the end to spit massive flames. Nate?

The hole is already 1" in diameter, just need to use a hollow tube.

I enlaarge the hole to 2" and made the tube hollow.  I wish I knew what a flame thrower required.

the only thing that might go wrong is the heat that the flame makes travling threw the pipe ..and makeing the metal expand and contract
