I've been toying around with that idea... Maybe printing the muscle pattern or brickwork onto the material for the Spidey suit... A friend of mine and I are looking into it.

I'm sure you have seen all the suits that the guys at BOTB and LOH are doing, right? They are awesome. They have all the muscles and webs and pretty much anything else, bats, etc.

Yeah Jack those guys are WAY out of my league! But I might be able to do some cool cloth effects with the dye printer....
Tim - I took a standard light switch cover and coated it with a water based primer to adhere the ink to. Took about thirty seconds. I let it dry, set it on the machine, and printed. BAM. My machine will print directly on to ANYTHING that will accept the ink. Some surfaces need to be pretreated first, but with a little creativity anything is possible. Golf balls, towels, shirts, light covers, canvas, fan blades, wood, metal, glass, etc. I am having fun being creative!
Oh, I also sprayed a sealant over it to keep the ink from smudging. Works like a charm!

No it wouldn't have been as satisfying if you hadn't been in pain. WOW, that sounds dirty. MOVING ON! Did we ever post the pics of our tattoos together, man?

Wow, I'm impressed how it printed on the contours. I'd like to see that thing in action! What does it do, spray the ink?

I would definitely be interested if you could print on lycra. I looked forever for decent patterned lycra and gave up on. The guys at the superhero hype board blow me away with the constant pattern adjusting and reprinting. I'm guessing they all have access to a machine like yours.
