Here is a kit for the rear jet nozzle, we are making them out of 1/8" thick steel plate, it can simply be welded together in about 10 minutes and it should cost about $500 in kit form (pre cut out, with step by step instructions for welding)

email request to eddiepaul@epindustries.com

Welcome aboard Eddie.  Looks like a well made kit but how accurate is it to the original?  Anyone care to post any pics?  I have to admit I haven't paid that much attention to the details of the original.  I tend to do that as I need to.

Shouldn't it have two layers to eliminate the gaps?

It is a kit so you can add a liner or not, you can add as much detail as you want, the more we add the higher the price to you, so I did the hard part, one guy will make the plates movable so we are adding hinges to the ends of each flap. as far as how accurate it is, it is within .001" of the original drawings for the original car. and the price will include standard shipping UPS Ground.

16 'Turkey feathers', which is correct but, I don't know about the central gap on each feather

Which 'original' drawing did you use?

Eddie has all the original Mattel CAD drawings. They are pretty damn detailed I believe....

Eddie! Nice to see you active and posting! These guys are all animals when it comes to accuracy, but you know that already. We all can't wait to see what you come up with!
