Turns out the blueprints Mattel gave him actually have that in them! So the next question would be - WHICH REPLICA has the splits in the exhaust? Hmmm.... Well at any rate, after conversing with "Mr. X", he has decided to redo the exhaust to be more accurate.

Eddie - thank you for taking all of the "accuracy" concerns with a grain of salt. I hope nobody on here comes off an unappreciative? If you succeed to in creating affordable, manufacturable, accurate accesories and parts for the '89, I am sure it will revolutionize the kit industry!

Jesus no one here is here to critisise Eddie's accuracy. I'm not anyway. I only asked wot made Eddie go wit the cut-out and if that came across as a negative comment Eddie I appologise. I love all new posts and there are a lot of people here who know a lot more about this car than me. Hell, I don't even have a kit yet (YET). I think the afterburner is deadly and i'd love to have one but unfortunatly i'm spending all me money on organising parties for J when he get's over here. I can bring that to a hault though.

NO NO! You keep on organizing, Dee.

Actually, I was not picking on anybody in particular because I know we are all here simply to check out pics, enjoy the car, and eventually build ones for ourselves. I just want to be on the safe side because what is friendly nitpicking to us might not appear that way to outsiders.

Nice idea Jack.

Welcome Eddie! Been hearing some great stories about all the sharp things you guys have been doing for years. The "mini-shark" was my favorite.

Nice to see you posting directly.

Hi All! I miss you guys! Been way too busy to post or even visit. Sorry. Been on the road. Just got back from Kansas. Here's a pic from last weekend in Richmond.

Heading for "Tim-land" this weekend. But can't do side-trips. We'll be in and out of the Superspeedway in record time.

Gonna try to "jump-ship" at the Kentucky race to meet up with Justin in Gatlinburg. Tim - Maybe you can meet up with us?

I've silicone molded the speaker boxes I got from Jack (Thanks. Pics very soon) so I have those available. (Jack can post pics when he gets his) Batcycle parts in the making and I'm going to fly home to NJ after Gatlinburg to add the Black Beauty kit to my stretch limo.

I promise to take a lot of pics then.

Keep up the great Bat-work.

Hey there Eddie! I see you lurking. Anything new going on? I was the one with Dan R. when we came to check out Nate's car.
