I really had no idea that Eddie and those guys were so talented and able to do just about anything.  I'd never heard of Eddie until someone on this board mentioned him a while back.

How often do you see an auto mechanic and an animator working for the same company?  That's the kind of place I would want to work for.

Hey guys!

From Halloween to New years, I traditionally get NOTHING done in my batcave, but this year my OTHER batmobile is suddenly busy!

I got to do a film shoot with her inside the real batcave on Sunday at Griffith park in Hollwood.  I had a big grin on my face most of the day, and sitting in the cave looking out my rear view TV and seeing my 3 rocket tubes and the cave going off in the distance was just too cool to look away from!

I have tons of photos and video of the day, I will post if you guys want to see any more, it was a perfect day, nice and cool enough to wear the cowl. (that's me with the big grin inside the cave.... I guess I can forgive Val for smiling with the bat suit on...)

Then in a couple of weeks I am set to do a photo shoot for a big car Magazine...

should be fun!

Nate,

I was walking up to the batcave yesterday and saw the batmobile there... WOW! It was a beautiful day and the batmobile looked gorgeous! When will you be up there shooting again? I wanna come up with my camera... I have a friend back east who is a complete Batfanatic and would go apesh*t for some pix!!!

Welcome the the board!

You picked the right day to go hike up there, because according to the Park Ranger, a batmobile has only been up there 2 other times, once for "Return to the batcave" movie, and a Magazine cover shoot! (Well, and back in 66 it was there for part of a day as well....) CORRECTION: I was told Chris W. had his car trailered up there for some photos too!  Thanks Scott!

Tell your bat pal to check out the two batmobile boards as I will post stuff from the shoot when I get the OK from the Director.

It was a lot of fun tearing out of the batcave, that's for sure!

Tearing down the quarter mile, squeeling tires and a big grin!  I got to take my son aka Robin down as well!  Shooting rockets, smoke, flame, had a fun day playing with my hotwheel!

Now that was a fun day!  Tearing down the track, shooting off my rockets and smoke canisters, running out of propane (oops! never refilled the tank!)

driving around in a line was great fun!  Watch the stands for car and driver not sure when it's coming out!

met up with the organizer of the FIREBALL RUN and am thinking of taking the batmobile cross country!  Need to figure out a roof.... I will be wind and sun burned after nine days....  maybe just a targa set up.  hmmmm.

Happy new years, bat pals!

Sweet!  So this is gonna be in Car & Driver?  You need to hurry and finish the '89, it would definitely look sweet in that pic!  More pics, more pics!

Sure, his name is Paul, nice guy, and he showed up with a mad max jacket!

He tricked out his trunk and added some side pipes!
