That's what I was wondering as well (about the vents). I widened my rear fenders as well to give me more room for the vents. I know mine is not to scale, but I followed the same body line plan.

After I did this I also cut off the fins and re-did them.

It looks like they just cut off the original fenders, took out a slice of about 3-4 inches, and glassed it back together.
The best photos of the Original wider onstar car that I have seen are the screen capture from the Looney Tunes movie that Jack made.
We will have to compare photos of where the thruster hits the slots in the fender, but knowing movie car people, fast, cheap and easy is usually they way they go. Anyone's side intakes show any sign of a seam in their vents? I will probably cut the fender after the curve and before it gets to the gas cap. I just can't go past 102 inches in California, but if this is wider than an RV, yikes!
Nate (as my kids college savings account goes up in smoke... think he will be OK with it when he gets at least one batmobile when I die?)

I wonder how much was removed? Most of the vents will probably stay lined up but it looks like it would require a lot of filler around the top to fill in the step.

Nate why don't you see if your body supplier will pop you a set of rear quarters. Then you could just trim them as needed to extend your quarters. That would probably be the easiest way to do it.

That's a good idea Jack!  So Don-Batgod, how about a set of fenders to the fins?  I'll let you meet Eddie Paul!

Here you can see from the front what the RIGHT tires, and the RIGHT frame do to the narrower than original body!  I posted this on another thread, but wanted to keep things neat.
