Is your DOJ batmobile a full-sized, reduced scale, or skewed replica?

Nice panel. Are you making it yourself or having it made?

For anyone wanting to do their own led backlit panels and buttons there is an excellent discussion article that
covers most of the methods at:

https://hackaday.com/2011/02/10/backlit-buttons-and-panels/#:~:text=The%20parts%20start%20off%20as%20clear%20acrylic%2C%20and,now%20a%20frosty%20white%2C%20ready%20for%20leds%20behind.

Most of these panels start with a lexan panel spray painted with Fusion or similar coating.
Then areas are removed with a CNC controlled laser, engraver or milling cutter.

Others leave the protective backing on and draw their layouts on this backing, after which, they use an Exacto razor holder to cut out the areas that they want to paint or sand blast. Still others computer print their layouts on peel off adhesive backed paper or card stock. Works like charm if you don't have access to laser or cnc mill/router.

hey OkBatman,
What kind of paint or coating are you using on your Lexan plastic before using a laser?

Not using any paint my friend who works for a company that builds ambulances has a material that they use to do consoles I'll try to send you a picture of it so you can see. I could make some extra sets that's probably not an issue I do like to Do trades.
