DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Not at this time, but my wife and I are putting together a budget for a '66

Since 1999, I've been involved in the B9 Robot Builder's Club. I've since retired from building robots for individuals around the country and trying to get back into show cars.

OCCUPATION: I work with my wife in the Speech Pathology field.

My Website:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Great forum you have here with a lot of useful build information. I'm looking forward to participating in all the wonderful discussions.

Location: Toronto, Ontario...Yes, that's Canada..
Own Replica Car? No replica car...at-this-time...but plenty of replica costumes though...
Involvement in the buz..: Well I suppose, kinda, sorta... my name gets thrown around in some costuming circles...and sure, since Batman is my personal favorite...I always seem to have something 'bat' related going on at some point or another.
Occupation: Costume Maker...so in other words I have no social life...

Why am I here on CLTC???
First off, I registered a while ago under a different screen name just so I could lurk and see the talented members here build their dream cars...and this place has some pretty impressive talent.
I only posted once and it was in BWD's build thread because it really was inspiring to me and I just had to say something. Now a little over a year later I'm toying with the idea of getting a 66 car and I'd like to be more active on the board...so I changed my screen name back to DAVIDYR1 . Nothing is set in stone, and I'm no where near to committing to a build but....I've got the itch, and that's a good start right there.

Mucho Respect to all the Builders here!

David

HOMETOWN: Geelong...In Victoria, Austraila.

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Umm... NOPE. I had Serval Go-Carts (with Engines), lots of Motor Bikes and Cars..... I even have a truck licence... but no Bat - vehicle.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share): I've had no experience with building cars although I built several Go-Carts with mower engines in my teens. If I re-call correctly building them was more enjoyable then driving them. I like the challange of making something from scratch.

OCCUPATION: I got a few jobs... if occupation means the one you spend most of your time doing I'd have to say Public Servant. I manage government housing... ironically its the job that pays the least.

YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS: I got a website... http://www.spidey4fun.ncable.net.au

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I started making spidey stuff about 3 years ago and have dicided to look into other areas. The Begins suit is something I thought would be cool to own. The Tumbler...well... what more needs to be said. Only problem with the car is could it EVER be registered to drive on Australian roads without distroying the total look of the car.

So that's my intro.. Im here to drool over the pictures of the making of Tumbers. When I get enough knowledge and have gathered enough specs I might even give myself a new hobby..... and have a go at making one.

Currently I don't own a bat mobile but am going to start to build a tumbler mighty soon.

I have been in the kit car industry since i have gotten out of college with a degree in mechanical engineering. I have worked on some movie cars but this will be my first scratch built car.

I joined so that I could both give and seek information that would be benefical to the forum and to my project when I start. Thanks!

Hi, I've been thinking about building an 89' car for years, I've been watching this site off and on for years. Had a couple of different Keaton replicas slip through my fingers on ebay years ago, and then decided to give up at the time while WB seemed to be a force to fear. But it would seem that WB have lightened up a little? I see people actually advertising kits for sale.

About me:

AGE: 31

HOMETOWN: Madison, WI

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Nope, but I'm tired of waiting

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share): Involved with kit cars for about 9 years, and I think I'm ready for the plunge into a Keaton car.

So who offers body kits of any kind?
