ok, I wanted to work on this all day but I was only able to get out at 5 pm today and this is what I did.

I cut the connection tubing that is going under the mid-frame ...after looking at the plans and the tubing I decided that it would not be strong enough so I cut some extra 3/4 rod that will act as some better bracing/strength for the arms and welded it on..

after that I Cut the angle iron for the motor mount and welded that onto the rear, then put the axle back on so I could aline the jackshaft sprockets with the axle sprockets, then took the jackshaft/motor mount and tac-welded that into place making sure the two axles were lined up right..then I lined up the sprockets, placed in the keys, adjusted the locking collar, and tightened all the set screws.

and to let you all know the welder that I'm useing ...this is a chicago electric 110v/90amp fluxcore welder that I bought off of ebay for $40+$40 s/h and if you can tell I'm a self tought welder..

Monday: my front tires should be getting here (UPS)

ya bigger than I thought too...they are 18 x 10 x 10 ...the rear will be bigger yet 22 x 12 x 8 .. I also went out and did this today , and it was one of those days, damn cut three pieces wrong, burned myself, welded things wrong, the welder kept shuting down, and I burnt up a tip...BUT I STUCK TO IT ..rrrrrr

I placed things up  and MAN this thing is going to be big, I'm not to sure if I like the turn radious..and yes it lookes like I going to be running out of room.

I also drilled holes for these grease zerks (sp)

Hey T-man, that turning radious might increase when you install the spindle that the wheel will pivot on, that will bring it a few more inches away from the arm, allowing it to rotate more.    Course, thats just my opinion from what i gather, i could be wrong.

Your welding skills are awesome to be self taught, it inspires me to give it a shot again, i cant weld worth crap, but maybe if i try at it i might get better.

Keep up the great work and i cant wait to see the finished product!

well my girl just got a new camera that does vidio so once we figure it out I'll show you what I know.

I just got the the rear tires in this morning..

I went out and put them on...man this thing is bigger than I thought

notice that the tread on these are reversed they come that way ..I'm going to have to take this ...hold it...I'll have to drive this some place to have it fixed..

I pulled the mid frame, the rear, and the arms and placed it all together (not connected) it get a good idea of the size...it was a little to darkbut here it is

now I need to find someone in town that has 1 3/4" round tubing, 2" washers, and allthread.
