Shaggy

Would you be will to release the file??? I love the idea of building a 1/2 size. My wife and I recently had a child and I was going to build a scaled downed monster truck but a tumbler woulb be much cooler.  Would it be possible to get the measurements aand or files???

Thanks

Matt

Hey xtreme86x,

I have no problem sharing the files, but i do have limits that have to be reached, you have to have a good post count, gain access to the members only area, and prove to us all that your not a troll lurking from another forum.

I dont mean any disrespect, but i do have my requirements before i freely share information .    When these requirements have been met, i will give you any information that i know/have

welcome to the site btw!

Shaggy,

No problem, I completely understand, you've put a lot of work into it. It look very impressive. When are you planning on starting the build stage??

I have a couple engines that I have that I am thinking about using(my wife says I always go over kill but I have a hopped 1776 dualport VW motor with trans, and I also have a 300hp Cad Northstar engine. I would like to build one just big enough for 2 but not full size. The Caddy engine might be a little much, but I little too much rather than too little.

Good luck with the build

thanks

Hah! There is no such thing as "too much"  Big Wave Dave has shown us that with his Rumbler.   He too is running a Caddy engine, i dont think its northstar 32 valve tho.    Most of the guys on the website are shooting for about 85% scale, to stay within the boundries of the DOT.   But still big enought to go 2 seater comfortably.

Honestly i think the same thing, if i ever were to get the wild hair to build a street legal buggy, i would be trying to tag it as a custom dune buggy. (with a body of course )    I live in AL, and the DOT laws here are....well...hardly there.    If you have duct tape, and some cardboard, you could build yourself a car and drive it around for months, with stuff falling off of it onto the road (dont forget the plastic spinner hub caps) and NO exhaust once so-ever, and still get away with it.

Trust me, you dont want to live here, I HATE living here.   What i'm gonna say next i mean absolutly NO disrespect to anyone.

But here in AL, racism is a very large part of everyday life, football is in place of church and all that implies.  If you dont vote Republican, your hated, if your sexual prefference is anything BUT straight, you usually dont "stay in town long".  And if you are not dressed, act like, or have as much money as everyone else, your an outcast, plain and simple.    I, myself, have a gothic personality, therfore i'm not liked by many people, just because "im different"   I've had mothers SNATCH their children away from my path while i'm walking into a store, like im a disease or something.

If i could see myself having a better life somewhere else, i would have long since moved to that state, and planted roots where things like the said items above arent so outspoken.

now this much i will share freely.  Ortho's taken from my 3D car.  Build an actual car from just ortho's and your better than me, hands down.  I cant do it

I'm glad they are watermarked, least that way if someone else tries to post them as their own on another website, we'll know.
